Gas Safe Plumber
40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 Weekends: 1 day every other weekend, paid at 1.5xHoliday: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, plus 1 additional day per year of servicePension: 6% employer contribution
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high quality installation, maintenance, and repair work across a wide range of plumbing and heating systems. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair hot and cold-water systems, sanitation systems, waste disposal, and central heating.
- Diagnose, fix, and maintain piped services, including drainage systems.
- Test closed-loop heating circuits to ensure correct pressure and operational levels.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of plumbing materials.
- Support and collaborate with other team members when needed.
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and take part in seasonal shift patterns and on call rotations.
- Carry out any additional duties reasonably requested by management within the scope of the role.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- City & Guilds 6089 NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing (or higher)
- Unvented Hot Water Certificate
- CCN1 Gas Qualification
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety, including COSHH
- Good knowledge of building regulations
- Must have own hand tools
- Significant proven experience in plumbing and heating
- Full, clean UK driving licence
