Electrical Quality Inspector

Your Role

Dornan are currently recruiting for an Electrical Quality Inspector to work on site on a significant sized commercial project in Central London.

Responsibilities

• Ensure familiarity with project requirements as detailed in contract documents, specifications, codes, and standards.
• Perform inspections of Dornan electrical installations to ensure compliance with approved benchmarks, design, and project specifications.
• Conduct routine quality inspections, recording snags and observations.
• Manage snagging activities through scheduled walkdowns, surveillances, and snag management software.
• Review and critique installations to support a snag-free client walkdown.
• Deliver Benchmark / First of a Kind process and sign-off.
• Prepare QA walkdown packs as required.
• Take ownership of QA for allocated scope from construction completion through testing, inspection, and handover.
• Participate in the Quality Surveillance Programme.
• Review and approve test and inspection records.
• Attend quality and commissioning meetings as required.
• Compile electrical turnover packs.
• Represent Dornan at system/area QA walkdowns.

About You

Your Experience

• Previous electrical Construction QAQC Inspector experience
• Experienced with Walkdowns processes
• Have strong PC competency (Microsoft Office)

Your Qualifications

Essential:

Third level degree OR trade qualification in the Electrical Discipline
