Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree of any engineering or science discipline or engineering technician background is welcome.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering excellent service to customers.
  • Team player.
  • Willing to learn.
  • Site-based experience.
  • Good knowledge of the planning process and delivery of the project(s) objectives.
  • Good knowledge of building regulation Eurocode.
  • Desirable understanding of fire dynamics and basic fire engineering principles.
  • Ideal candidate holds a Postgraduate degree in Fire Safety Engineering or similar disciplines (Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering).
  • Knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance as well as international guidance documents.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher plus three years’ experience in managing projects and supervision; must evaluate project requests, delegate, and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of British Building Regulations.
  • Knowledge of fire dynamics and fire engineering principles.
  • Duration of post: Permanent / Fixed Term.
  • UK permanent residence.
