The Role

As the Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing refurbishment and maintenance projects from mobilisation through to completion. Working across a mixed‑use property portfolio, you will coordinate contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and fully compliant with health & safety and regulatory requirements.

This is a hands‑on role that combines project management, technical compliance oversight and stakeholder engagement, offering both variety and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project mobilisation across a varied property portfolio.
  • Oversee contractors, consultants and specialists to ensure works are coordinated and delivered effectively.
  • Ensure implementation of compliance requirements including fire safety, asbestos, legionella, M&E and energy efficiency.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
  • Produce clear progress reports and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure effective use of resources.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety legislation and maintain safe working environments.
  • Develop specifications, policies, procedures and detailed work plans for projects.
  • Support continuous improvement across project delivery and compliance processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in property, maintenance or capital works project management.
  • Knowledge of key compliance areas including fire safety, asbestos, legionella and M&E systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, reporting and documentation skills.
  • Proactive, solution‑focused approach with attention to detail
