We are looking for an experienced Project Consultant to support the delivery of a major Pumped Storage Hydropower project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most significant low carbon infrastructure developments.

Job Description

  • Support the Project Director in coordinating major workstreams, including technical/construction, commercial & finance and partnering.
  • Assist with end to end project delivery across development, procurement, commercial and construction phases.
  • Collect, analyse and interpret commercial, regulatory and development data to generate insights and strengthen cross workstream decision making.
  • Develop high quality materials, including slide decks, visuals, memos and briefings.
  • Support macro level programme planning for 2026 and integration across multiple functions.
  • Coordinate cross functional teams to maintain schedule, budget, governance and technical compliance.
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement activities involving communities, politicians, landowners, suppliers and other external partners.
  • Contribute to project planning, budgeting, reporting, risk monitoring and organisational alignment.
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and disciplined delivery within the project team.

Qualifications

  • Strong project coordination or project management experience, ideally in infrastructure, energy, construction, or similar complex environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills and an ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Skilled in producing high quality presentations and written materials.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactive, organised and able to work independently at pace.
