Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and motivate the team working collaboratively across Adult Learning Centres.
- Lead and be responsible for delivering a range of initiatives that benefit learners and staff.
- Identify, deliver and review Adult Learning Centre support services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to maximise the impact of joint working and actively promote inter‑agency working across Manchester City.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 3 Business Administration qualification or willingness to achieve one within 2 years.
- Evidence of continual professional and management development.
- Willingness to travel across the city to meet business needs.
- Experience of managing people effectively.
- Customer‑focused with a desire to provide services to a high standard.
- Oversee day‑to‑day running of Adult Learning Centres.
- Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining calm and professional in a busy environment.
- Experience of managing and leading support/administrative services.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and excellent customer‑focused service.
- Effective and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Shares MAES objectives.
- Strong references (3 years' history).
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance (Standard disclosure).
