Our client is a leading UK-based construction company specialising in reinforced concrete frames and groundworks with a turnover of over £30 million. Our client's expertise spans a wide range of Industrial, commercial and residential projects, from large-scale developments to complex projects. Project values vary from £1m – £10m.
About the Role
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of construction.
Responsibilities
- Managing valuations, variations, cost control, and payments.
- Working closely with project teams and clients to ensure profitability.
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with bulk house builders.
- Producing accurate financial reporting to support senior management.
- Playing a key role in the delivery of multiple new projects starting shortly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Experience working with Civil Engineering, Groundworks or Infrastructure
- Strong commercial and JCT contractual knowledge.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
