Seasonal Campsite Warden – Join Us in the Heart of the Cotswolds
Start Date: Immediate. End Date: End of September 2026. Hours: 5–6 days per week (flexible, depending on bookings).
Nestled in the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold RFC Camping offers a truly special setting to work and live for the summer season. Surrounded by honey‑coloured stone villages, sweeping countryside views, and endless walking routes, this is more than just a job — it’s a chance to experience one of the UK’s most iconic Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our friendly, community‑run campsite combines peaceful grass pitches with fully serviced hardstanding options, alongside spotless shower facilities and a welcoming clubhouse bar. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable warden (single or couple) to become part of our close‑knit team.
The Role
This is a hands‑on and varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests while helping to keep the site running smoothly.
- Assisting the Site Manager with bookings, guest check‑ins and departures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across facilities
- Supporting small shop duties
- Light groundskeeping: grass cutting, gardening, and general upkeep
- Covering the Site Manager’s responsibilities 1–2 days per week
Hours will vary depending on occupancy, with Fridays and Saturdays being the busiest and most sociable days on site.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and enjoys working with people
- Practical, proactive, and happy to get stuck in
- Flexible and reliable
Preferred (but not essential):
- Basic IT skills
- Customer service experience
- Previous campsite or warden experience (full training provided)
What’s Included
- A fully serviced hardstanding pitch for your own caravan, motorhome, or camper
- Wi‑Fi and TV licence
- Laundry facilities
- Full access to campsite amenities
- A unique opportunity to live and work in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK
If you’re looking for a rewarding seasonal role where you can enjoy countryside living, meet new people, and be part of a welcoming team, we’d love to hear from you.
