Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage production schedules across CNC machining, ensuring capacity is used effectively
  • Sequence work intelligently based on machines, tooling and available resource
  • Work closely with engineering and production to make sure routes and cycle times stack up
  • Keep control of WIP, materials and priorities to avoid bottlenecks and delays
  • Act as the link between sales and the shop floor, keeping everyone aligned on delivery

What we’re looking for

  • Solid background in production planning within CNC machining or precision engineering
  • Strong understanding of milling, turning and multi-axis environments
  • Comfortable reading drawings and understanding how parts flow through production
  • Confident using ERP/MRP systems, with good Excel skills
  • Organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple priorities without losing control
