What You’ll Be Doing

Lead end-to-end procurement activity across ICT and corporate categoriesDevelop and implement category strategies, sourcing plans, and market approachesDeliver complex, high-value tenders from concept through to contract award and implementationIdentify new commercial opportunities and drive value for money outcomesManage and prioritise a pipeline of procurement projects based on risk and complexityProvide expert commercial advice to internal stakeholdersBuild strong relationships with suppliers and external partnersEnsure all procurement activity complies with relevant legislation and best practice

Leadership & Team Management

Manage and support a team of procurement professionalsAllocate workload, set priorities, and drive high performanceLead on coaching, development, and performance managementFoster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience

Proven background in procurement, category management, or commercial roles (5+ years)Significant experience delivering complex ICT procurement projects end-to-endStrong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and contract lawExperience managing high-value contracts and supplier relationshipsDemonstrable experience leading or mentoring teams

Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinkingExcellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsConfident communicator (written and verbal)Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into procurement strategiesHighly organised with strong project management capability
