Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our clinical pharmacy Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the safe, timely and efficient supply of medicines across all wards and departments, contributing to high quality patient care and the smooth running of clinical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly at ward level ensuring patients receive medicines safely and on time
- Assess patients own medications for suitability
- Transfer medicines as patients move between wards
- Support efficient and timely patient discharges
- Order patient-specific medicines
- Help minimise missed doses and contribute to excellent patient care
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Well organised and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptable to changing demands and able to work accurately under pressure
- Committed to delivering a high quality, patient-focused service and making a positive difference to patients' experience
