We’re looking for a Resident Maintenance Engineer to join an on site team at a major automated warehouse in Thatcham. This hands on role is essential to maintaining the reliability and performance of a fast paced intralogistics operation.

About the Role

  • Responsible for delivering PPM and reactive maintenance within agreed timeframes
  • Maintain and repair fast‑flowing material‑handling equipment
  • Log all daily activities accurately using the agreed method
  • Work closely with the customer and fully engage in day‑to‑day operations
  • Ensure compliance with site CMMS, quality, environmental, and H&S procedures
  • Identify root causes of equipment issues and work proactively with operations

Requirements

  • ONC/HNC/BTEC/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • PLC knowledge/experience beneficial
  • Experience with automated materials‑handling equipment
  • Ability to work at height
