Thismanagementposition offers a unique chance towork as part of a fast-moving red meat manufacturer.You will work side by side with experienced Technical Account Managersand have a direct report, overseeing,developingand leading their development within the industry.You willcollaborate with production, sales, and quality assurance teams to deliverexceptionalservice and innovative solutions to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assistand developTechnical Account Managers inmanaging ourcustomers,their accounts andunderstanding their operationalneeds. Ensureconsistently highstandards are met throughout supply and processing.
  • Leadclient onboardingfrominitialproduct setup, explaining processing technologies, and delivering tailored training relevant to industry requirements.
  • Addressquickly and efficientlyclient queries, troubleshoot technical issues related to red meat products, processing equipment, safety, and compliance,keepingthe Site Technical Managerup to datecomplex cases.
  • Manageaccount reviews, compilingweekly and monthlydata on production performance, product quality, compliance metrics, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, productissuesand resolutions.
  • Work effectively with cross-departmentalteams, collaboratingwith Sales, Product Development, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams to provide meat industry-specific solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Take initiative and stay informed about advancements in meat processing technologies, industry regulations,food safety improvements,animal welfare standards, and trends in the red meat sector

Qualifications

  • Customer relationship managementinthe red meat supply chain.
  • Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonalskills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Broad range of problem-solving skills and an ability totake initiative when faced with industry-specific challenges.
  • Ableto work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail,specificallyin compliance and quality assurance matters.
  • Previousexperience in a customer-facing or technical role within the food sector isessential.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Business, Meat Technology, or a related field is desirable, but not necessary.

Monday – Friday 8.30am-5pm on site
