Overview


Due to the continued growth and development of a highly regarded Counter-Fraud Team, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Litigated File Handler to join the department. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of specialists, managing their own caseload of suspected fraudulent motor claims.


The caseload will encompass a wide range of complex and challenging claims, including but not limited to bogus passenger claims, staged or contrived accidents, exaggerated injuries, induced accidents, low-speed impact incidents, late notification claims, credit hire fraud, MIB claims, and linked or organised fraud.


The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a litigated File Handler, or alternatively, possess strong experience in RTA litigation with a demonstrable interest in developing a career within the fraud sector.


A sound understanding of the litigation process, including Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and court procedures, is essential. The team receives a steady stream of instructions from a broad client base, and as such, the department is seeking an individual who is technically proficient, commercially aware, and committed to delivering high-quality legal services.



Responsibilities



  • Manage your own caseload of suspected fraudulent motor claims as part of a Counter-Fraud Team.

  • Handle a wide range of complex and challenging claims including bogus passenger claims, staged or contrived accidents, exaggerated injuries, induced accidents, low-speed impact incidents, late notification claims, credit hire fraud, MIB claims, and linked or organised fraud.

  • Work with a team of specialists to deliver high-quality legal services.



Qualifications



  • Experience handling RTA fraud or civil litigation claims

  • Knowledge of the litigation process, CPR, and court procedures

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate and communicate information logically

  • Ability to manage a varied caseload, work to deadlines, and prioritise effectively

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Professional and effective communication with colleagues and clients
