Multi‑Skilled Engineer

We’re looking for a Multi‑Skilled Engineer to provide high‑quality engineering support, focusing on equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and minimising downtime across site operations.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working across departments, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and safely
• Support production teams to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
• Accurately record work, downtime and root cause analysis within CMMS
• Identify and implement engineering and process improvements
• Maintain hygiene, health & safety and housekeeping standards
• Support site and group engineering projects
• Act as a role model, supporting apprentices and developing best practice

What You’ll Bring

• City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding skills
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and engineering systems
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing (desirable)
• A proactive, ‘can‑do’ attitude with strong problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently, safely and as part of a team
