ROLE: Multi Skilled Shift Engineer – Electrical Bias
HOURS: 4 on / 4 off (2 days 07:00-19:00, 2 nights 19:00-07:00)

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) who will deliver essential electrical and mechanical maintenance across a high‑profile London estate, ensuring systems remain safe, reliable and fully operational at all times.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
- Diagnose faults using technical manuals, drawings, and diagnostic tools to restore systems efficiently.
- Support critical building systems including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, standby generators, and fire alarm/PA systems.
- Conduct inspections, identify defects or warning indicators, and take corrective action to prevent system failures.
- Work collaboratively within a balanced shift team to provide 24/7 coverage and maintain service continuity across the estate.
Required Qualifications
- City & Guilds Craft Certificate / ONC or equivalent technical qualification.
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
- IEE 18th Edition certification.
- Minimum two years' post‑apprenticeship experience in a similar building services environment.
- C&G 2391 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of building services systems and maintenance practices.
- Ability to pass full intrusive security vetting (mandatory).
