The role


As our L&D Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping the development of our consultants across the business. This role is particularly suited to someone with a strong recruitment background, ideally in contract recruitment or within a business with significant contract recruitment operations, who can translate real-world experience into impactful training and coaching.


Responsibilities



  • Designing, delivering, and managing training programmes, including both client and candidate courses.

  • Partnering with leadership and stakeholders to understand team needs and develop tailored learning solutions to drive performance across the business.

  • Providing on-the-job coaching, call coaching, and at-desk support for consultants.

  • Identifying training needs across the business and reporting these to leadership.

  • Staying ahead of business changes to keep training relevant and effective.

  • Positively influencing culture, motivation, and performance through L&D initiatives.

  • Creating training materials and content that align with our business objectives.


What we’re looking for



  • Recruitment background is essential, ideally with experience in contract recruitment.

  • Previous Learning & Development or Sales Training experience is desirable, but not essential (training will be provided).

  • Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to engage consultants at all levels.

  • A proven record of success in recruitment and an understanding of the challenges consultants face.

  • High levels of organisation, time management, and adaptability.

  • Enthusiasm for driving consultant performance and development.

  • Proactive mindset with accountability for learning outcomes and driving performance across the business.

  • Willingness to be onsite 4 days a week.
