Join Tokko Youth Hub, a dynamic charity in the heart of Luton dedicated to empowering young people to reach their full potential. We are seeking a passionate Young Parent Coordinator to join our team as part of a job share supporting young parents across a range of needs. We encourage applications from all backgrounds, especially those whose lived experience reflects that of our young people.

Full-time: 37.5 hrs per week, 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to enhance service delivery and share insights.
  • Conduct assessments to identify and meet the needs of young parents.
  • Foster community support by partnering with other agencies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Assist young mothers in promoting their children’s development.
  • Plan and facilitate parenting courses and group activities.
  • Advocate for young parents in relevant meetings.
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly reports for project evaluation.

Who You Are

  • Experienced in supporting young people, especially young parents.
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable about the challenges faced by young parents.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
