Tool Hire – Regional Business Development Executive

Full‑Time | Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:00

Based from our High Street Godstone branch, you’ll focus on winning new business, developing existing accounts and driving profitable growth for our Tool Hire operation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new Tool Hire business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Develop and deliver a regional sales plan
  • Promote products, services, offers and new lines
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve agreed margin targets
  • Prepare and follow up quotations
  • Plan daily calls and manage a structured calling cycle
  • Maintain accurate sales records, paperwork, and reports
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
  • Establish and review the calling cycle to maximize customer contact and develop existing business
  • Develop a territory strategy that maintains existing business and identifies new customers
  • Selling across our product range and introducing promotions and new lines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in Tool Hire (builders’ merchant preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills
  • Well organised and results focused
  • Knowledge of building supplies and Tool Hire services
  • Good understanding of industry health & safety standards
