Role Overview
We are looking for a Planning Officer to lead a diverse caseload of applications, appeals and pre‑application enquiries, working within our award‑winning Development Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a range of planning applications, related appeals and pre‑application enquiries.
- Deliver expert planning outcomes within our holistic, co‑located team of consultees.
- Engage with elected members, the community and stakeholders to support responsive decision‑making.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in managing planning applications, appeals and pre‑application enquiries.
- Detailed knowledge and working knowledge of Development Management, local and national policies and legislation.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Passion for place‑making and sustainable development.
Additional Skills
Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with stakeholders.
