LUC is an employee‑owned environmental and planning consultancy with offices across the UK. We are looking for an Associate Director to lead and grow our Environmental Clerk of Works (EnvCoW) service in Scotland.

The Role

  • Lead the strategic development of LUC’s EnvCoW service
  • Build and manage a team delivering site‑based environmental compliance
  • Strengthen client and regulator relationships
  • Provide technical oversight on environmental risk, mitigation and licensing
  • Contribute to integrated post‑consent services across ecology, planning, landscape and heritage

About You

  • Extensive EnvCoW or construction‑phase environmental management experience
  • Strong understanding of compliance, licensing and environmental risk
  • Experience leading complex projects and supporting team development
  • Strong communication and commercial awareness
  • Full UK driving licence
