Clinical Partners is one of the UK’s leading providers of mental health and neurodevelopmental services, supporting adults and children across both NHS and private pathways. Our mission is to make high‑quality, safe assessments more accessible and sustainable. As demand for our services continues to grow, we’re investing in our product function to improve how patients move through referral, intake, triage and onboarding—reducing friction, improving turnaround times and creating a more scalable service model.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to own our Intake & Automation product area. This is a critical domain at the heart of both patient experience and operational efficiency. You’ll work at the intersection of product, operations, clinical teams and applied AI—identifying where automation or AI can genuinely improve outcomes, and where simpler workflow or UX solutions are the better answer.

This role focuses on applied AI, not building models from scratch. You’ll help shape how third‑party AI and LLM tools (e.g. GPT‑based services) are responsibly integrated into workflows—designing prompts, guardrails, evaluations and human‑in‑the‑loop processes to ensure solutions are safe, measurable and effective.

This primarily home‑based role requires occasional travel to London for meetings and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for the Intake & Automation domain, aligned to wider business and product priorities.
  • Lead structured discovery into referral, intake, triage and onboarding workflows, using user insight, operational data and systems thinking.
  • Identify and prioritise high‑value opportunities to reduce manual effort, failure demand and operational complexity.
  • Introduce AI‑enabled capabilities where they add genuine value, with clear evaluation criteria, guardrails and fallback logic.
  • Work with engineers and designers on prompt design, testing, monitoring and non‑deterministic behaviour management.
  • Define success metrics and ensure workflows are instrumented to measure automation quality, exceptions and downstream impact.
  • Partner closely with clinical, operational, delivery and commercial stakeholders to co‑create scalable, usable solutions.
  • Communicate product direction, trade‑offs and outcomes clearly across a complex stakeholder environment.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager owning complex, workflow‑heavy or operations‑facing products.
  • Strong discovery skills, with the ability to map real‑world processes, constraints and failure points.
  • Practical experience integrating third‑party AI or LLM tools into products or workflows.
  • Understanding of prompt design, evaluation, guardrails and human‑in‑the‑loop approaches.
  • Strong judgement on when AI is appropriate versus rules‑based automation or UX improvements.
  • Confident stakeholder manager, able to align clinical, operational and technical teams.
  • Outcome‑focused, pragmatic and evidence‑led in decision‑making.

Desirable

  • Experience in healthcare, health‑tech or other regulated, safety‑critical environments
  • Experience working on intake, triage, onboarding or case‑management systems

Remuneration and Benefits

  • £95-£100,000 annual salary (DOE)
  • 25 days paid holiday (increasing with service to 28 days) plus bank holidays.
  • A day off for your birthday.
  • Healthcare Cash Plan
  • Benefits Platform
  • Life Assurance
  • Discount Vouchers
  • Flexible working opportunities to suit your personal needs
  • Opportunities to take part in charitable events
  • Access to a Wellbeing portal and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
