Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Influencer Manager to ideate, develop, and execute cutting‑edge influencer strategies and campaigns that align with client business objectives and resonate authentically with target audiences. You’ll be the go‑to expert for all things influencer, from identifying the perfect partners to measuring campaign success. You’ll be an adept strategist capable of translating brand goals into compelling influencer narratives, negotiating partnerships, and managing campaigns from conception to reporting. What You’ll Be Doing
- Influencer Strategy & Development – Lead the development and execution of comprehensive influencer marketing strategies, from client kick‑off and brand audits to custom strategy shells, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and social strategy.
- Campaign Management – Oversee end‑to‑end planning, execution, and optimisation of influencer campaigns across platforms, producing detailed briefs, managing budgets, and ensuring on‑time delivery.
- Influencer Sourcing & Relationship Management – Identify, vet, and onboard diverse influencers and creators, building strong partnerships, negotiating paid deals, and leveraging data for decision‑making.
- Content & Briefing – Develop clear, inspiring, and legally compliant creative briefs for influencers, including pitch templates and do/don’t lists, and review all materials for brand compliance.
- Performance & Reporting – Track, analyse, and report campaign performance against KPIs, delivering insights, optimisation recommendations, and regular client briefings.
- Client & Internal Collaboration – Work closely with clients, strategists, content creators, social media managers, and account teams, serving as day‑to‑day client point of contact and driving cross‑functional integration.
- Trend Spotting – Stay ahead of emerging influencer trends, platforms, and best practices, and share actionable insights with VML and clients.
- Budget Management & Legal – Manage campaign budgets, facilitate contract drafting with legal support, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines such as ASA rules and disclosure requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful influencer marketing strategies for major brands.
- Deep understanding of the influencer ecosystem across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms, including audience insights and paid partnership mechanics.
- Strong collaboration skills, building relationships with clients, internal teams, influencers, and external partners.
- Creative thinking that translates strategic objectives into engaging influencer content ideas.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects while maintaining self‑management and time‑management excellence.
- Passion for innovation in the influencer space, continuously exploring new approaches.
- Data‑driven mindset, adept at analysing performance metrics to optimise campaigns.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory guidelines in influencer marketing, such as ASA guidelines and disclosure requirements.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities.
