Key Responsibilities
- Manage all procurement activities, from strategic sourcing to contract execution, for renewable energy projects.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and build robust supplier relationships to optimize costs and quality.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to align procurement with project timelines and technical specifications.
- Oversee procurement budgets, deliver accurate cost forecasts, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure procurement strategies support net-zero objectives and comply with industry regulations.
Person Specification
- 5+ years of procurement experience in energy, construction, or engineering sectors.
- Strong track record in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite for cost analysis and reporting.
- Passion for sustainability and excellent commercial acumen.
- Familiarity with NEC or JCT contracts and MEP systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
