Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting and improving process control systems and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
  • Working on PLC / DCS systems (including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Honeywell)
  • Delivering control system upgrades and modificationsProducing SIL documentation, SRS, and verification work
  • Supporting plant troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with IEC 61508 / 61511 standards
  • Supporting hazardous area instrumentation (ATEX environments)
  • Working closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams
  • Supporting commissioning, testing, and system improvements

Requirements

  • Experience in Control & Instrumentation / Control Systems within process, energy, or industrial environments
  • Hands‑on experience with PLCs / DCS (Siemens, Honeywell, ABB, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SIS and functional safety (IEC 61508 / 61511)
  • Experience working on or supporting live plant operations
  • Familiar with hazardous areas (ATEX / BS EN 60079)
  • Practical, problem‑solving mindset with strong stakeholder engagement
