Team Leader – Children’s Services
Location: Ashton-under-Lyne (Manchester)
Salary: £29,494 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (with expected overtime to cover sickness and annual leave)
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Children and young people with complex needs
Qualifications Required: Ideally NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
Experience Required: Experience supporting children with complex needs
Employment Type: Permanent

- You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent)
- You have qualifications only in Healthcare, NHS, CQC, or as a Nursery Practitioner

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children’s Home will not be considered.

You will:
- Lead the day-to-day running of shifts
- Provide emotional and practical support to your team
- Empower children and young people to achieve their goals
- Ensure high standards of care, safety, and professional practice
- Support and mentor Support Workers
- Commit to working across a variety of shifts on a rota basis
