Role Overview

As a Part II Architectural Assistant you will join our London, Birmingham or Glasgow studio and become part of a collaborative team of architects and designers where creativity, technical excellence, and client engagement are at the heart of what we do. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience on complex projects while learning from industry‑leading professionals.

Day‑to‑Day Activities

  • Supporting senior architects in developing and implementing design proposals.
  • Producing and coordinating design and technical information using Revit, with training and guidance provided.
  • Assisting in the preparation of clear, well‑structured drawings and documentation for planning, coordination and delivery stages.
  • Preparing presentation material and visual outputs to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
  • Supporting teams in meeting statutory and regulatory requirements and developing a working understanding of compliance.
  • Assisting with consultant coordination and information management under supervision, contributing to overall quality and consistency of project outputs.
  • Attending client and consultant meetings, primarily in a support role, to gain exposure to professional practice and project delivery.
  • Contributing to bid submissions and proposals, helping to present the practice’s capabilities clearly and professionally.

Graduate Development Programme

Our two‑year Graduate Development programme is designed to support personal and professional development and growth through blended learning, core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration and structured on‑the‑job experience. Many employees have progressed from graduate roles to senior positions within the company.

Qualifications

You will have completed an ARB‑prescribed or RIBA‑validated Part II qualification (typically an MArch or Diploma in Architecture) with a strong academic record, normally equivalent to a 2:1 or above.

  • Completed application form and online skill assessment.
  • Ready to start work in September 2026.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, Adobe Packages and AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a design team and take ownership of tasks after briefing.
  • Proficient in scheduling and maintaining focus to ensure timely delivery of objectives.
  • Skills to communicate technical detail graphically and effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for creativity and a drive to solve problems.
  • Willingness to inspire through new ideas.
