Overview

Albany Beck is seeking a proactive and driven PMO Analyst to join our consultancy team and support a major multi-year Operational Resilience Programme with one of our leading Investment Banking clients. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile regulatory and operational transformation initiative at the forefront of the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance of programme governance frameworks.
  • Ensure timely project reporting, accurate risk tracking, and alignment with regulatory expectations.

Reporting & MI

  • Prepare high-quality management information, weekly/monthly status updates, and polished executive-level presentations.
  • Assist with budget monitoring, cost tracking, and resource planning across programme workstreams.

Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with senior stakeholders across business, technology, and compliance teams to promote alignment, transparency, and effective communication.

Change Control

  • Coordinate and document change requests, ensuring clarity of scope and adherence to delivery timelines.
  • Identify, log, and monitor programme risks and issues, escalating where required and supporting mitigation planning.

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain programme documentation, templates, and PMO methodologies.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PMO processes and ways of working.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven PMO experience within financial services, ideally in an investment banking environment.
  • Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced Excel skills, with experience producing dashboards and data visualisations.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement abilities, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and confidence interacting with senior leaders.
  • Analytical mindset, with a high attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
