About the Role
You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality support to individuals managing opiate dependency. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will develop tailored recovery plans, provide harm reduction advice, and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure effective care.
Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of clients with opiate dependency, delivering person‑centred support.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify needs and recovery goals.
- Delivering harm reduction interventions, including advice on safer use and overdose prevention.
- Liaising with prescribing services and other agencies to coordinate care.
- Supporting clients through structured recovery programmes, fostering long‑term change.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS clearance (essential).
- Experience working with opiate clients in a recovery‑focused setting.
- Strong knowledge of harm reduction, safeguarding, and substance misuse interventions.
- Excellent caseload management and organisational skills.
