What You’ll Be Doing

As Bindery Manager, you will:

  • Lead and develop the in‑house bindery and finishing team, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Manage day‑to‑day production planning, scheduling and resource allocation to meet client deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Ensure workflows, processes and outputs align with the company’s exacting standards.
  • Oversee all bindery and finishing functions including perfect/PUR binding, saddle stitching, lay‑flat binding, trimming, folding, creasing and related processes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and lead process enhancements to increase throughput and reduce waste.
  • Work closely with pre‑press, press and fulfilment teams to ensure seamless handovers and exceptional final product quality.
  • Champion health & safety best practices across the bindery floor.
  • Uphold and exceed quality standards through rigorous checks and proactive performance monitoring.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and output consistency.

  • You have excellent technical knowledge of binding equipment and finishing techniques.
