Introduction
Acorn by Synergie, part of Synergie – Europe's fifth largest recruitment company, is recruiting a Recruitment Consultant to join our busy Exeter office. This role is ideal for experienced recruiters or ambitious sales professionals seeking to grow their career in a fast-paced, client-focused recruitment environment. You will have autonomy to work independently – running your own desk and offering creative recruitment solutions to businesses across multiple sectors.
Key Duties
- Manage the full permanent recruitment life-cycle, from job briefing through to offer and placement.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted recruitment partner.
- Conduct business development activity to win new clients and generate vacancies.
- Source, screen and interview candidates using multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals).
- Match candidates effectively to permanent roles based on skills, experience and cultural fit.
- Prepare candidates for interviews, providing coaching and feedback.
- Negotiate offers and fees, ensuring a successful close for all parties.
- Ensure full compliance with employment legislation, data protection and company processes.
- Maintain accurate records on the CRM/ATS, tracking candidate and client activity.
Requirements
- Previous experience in recruitment or sales.
- Outgoing personality with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to listen, learn, and build strong client and candidate relationships.
- Passion for sales and providing excellent customer service.
- Full UK driving licence.
