Job Summary

We are working with a reputable, busy Mechanical & Electrical contractor, delivering high-quality design, installation, and maintenance services across commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK. The business is well established, with a strong pipeline of work and is recognised for its high staff retention and collaborative team environment.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join their expanding delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to step into project management and develop their career within a supportive and experienced team, working on mechanical building services projects ranging from £100k to £10M.

Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will assist in the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of mechanical projects from start to finish
  • Assisting with programme management and coordination of works
  • Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Supporting health, safety, and quality compliance on projects
  • Assisting with procurement of materials and subcontractors
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting to senior management
  • Attending client and site meetings
  • Supporting cost control and budget tracking

Requirements

  • Previous experience within Mechanical Building Services (site, design, or estimating background considered)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good understanding of construction processes and project delivery
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and progress into a Project Management role
