Overview

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking a Mobile Crane Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on mobile commercial cranes.

Location: Nottingham

Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 + Overtime

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance and repairs on mobile cranes and associated equipment.
  • Conduct thorough examinations of lorry loader cranes and other hydraulic loading equipment to LOLER standard.
  • Attend breakdowns.
  • Diagnose faults (mechanical and electrical).
  • Complete all paperwork accurately.
  • Carry out all repair work required on site where possible.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Background in heavy plant operation.
  • Experience working with mobile cranes is advantageous.
  • Experience with hydraulics and electrics.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience working with cranes up to 12.5 tonnes.
  • UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
