Project Manager – Compliance Surveillance

Overview

A financial services firm is looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to support its Compliance function, focusing on systems and data used to monitor trading activity.

This is a hybrid role combining analysis, delivery, and data responsibilities, working closely with both business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and define business and data requirements
  • Act as a link between business stakeholders and technology teams
  • Support delivery of projects from initiation through to testing and implementation
  • Perform analysis of systems, processes, and data flows
  • Help design and improve data processes and controls
  • Support onboarding and testing of new data sources
  • Assist with issue investigation and resolution, including production data
  • Provide regular updates and ensure priorities are clearly managed
  • Contribute to process improvements and technology enhancements

Required Experience

  • Experience in a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role
  • Background in financial services and regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working with data, systems, and process analysis
  • Understanding of delivery lifecycles (e.g. Agile)

Desirable

  • Exposure to compliance, monitoring, or control-based functions
  • Experience with reporting or data visualisation tools
