Electronics Engineer | Surrey | £55,000 – £60,000
We're working with an engineering-led medical device company based in Surrey, developing advanced imaging hardware used in clincal environments.
They are currently growing their electronics team and are looking for an Electronics Engineer with a strong hardware background to support the development of new products.
Responsibilities of the Electronics Engineer:
- Schematic capture and PCB design/layout
- Development of multi‑layer boards
- Board bring‑up, testing and debugging
- Supporting products through to production
- Working closely with firmware and software teams on system integration
Why would an Electronics Engineer want to join?
- Opportunity to work across the full design cycle, rather than being limited to one stage
- Exposure to high‑performance, real‑world products
- Collaborative engineering team across hardware, firmware and software
- Scope to broaden experience into areas such as firmware and system‑level design over time
Skills & experience required from the Electronics Engineer:
- Experience in electronics hardware design
- Strong PCB design and schematic capture experience (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad, etc.)
- Background in analogue and digital circuit design
- Comfortable working in a lab‑based environment with hands‑on testing and debugging
Desired skills:
- Exposure to high‑speed or mixed‑signal design
- Some experience with embedded systems or firmware (C/C++)
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. medical, aerospace, automotive)
