Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Site Manager based in Alconbury- PE28. The Site Manager will oversee daily construction operations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include managing construction teams, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, conducting site inspections, maintaining project documentation, and fostering effective communication between all stakeholders.

The scheme consists of 178 traditionally built homes ranging from 1‑bedroom apartments to 4‑bedroom detached homes.

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction site management, project planning, and daily operational oversight
  • Expertise in health and safety compliance
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to handle project documentation and maintain detailed records
  • Relevant certifications in construction or site management preferred – SMSTS/CSCS
  • Excellent knowledge of NHBC standards
