Salary: £40,758 plus Bonus scheme

Utilita is a UK energy company founded in 2003, specialising in smart technology to help customers reduce energy usage. We are looking for a qualified Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer to join our award‑winning Field Services team as a Revenue Protection Smart Meter Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Revenue Protection team and attend domestic and commercial properties to investigate and resolve smart meter alerts and safety issues.
  • Engage with customers at pre‑warrant and warrant appointments.
  • Discuss repayment options and agree suitable resolutions.
  • Install and exchange smart meters when required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all outcomes are compliant.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold CMA1/CCN1 or equivalent, MET1, MOCOPA (single phase, single off multi, multi rate) qualifications, and have previous experience as a Smart Meter Engineer. 3‑Phase and Medium pressure qualifications are desirable.

Candidate must thrive in a team‑focused environment, possess clear communication, flexibility and resilience, and be willing to travel to customers’ homes following enhanced security vetting.
