About the Role
As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the sports centre. You will lead by example, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver a high-quality customer experience
- Ensure excellent standards of customer care and service delivery
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and issues in a professional and effective manner
- Support the safe operation of the facility, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards
- Provide visible leadership to staff, ensuring they are motivated and performing effectively
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the centre
About You
- Previous experience in a sports centre, leisure, or similar environment (e.g. lifeguard, gym instructor, personal trainer)
- Willingness to complete a lifeguard qualification (RLSS NPLQ) if not already held
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Management experience is not essential.

- 05:45 – 13:45
- 13:30 – 21:30
