Overview

As an Account Manager in our TMEGS (Technology, Media, Entertainment, Gaming, and Sports) team, you will look after clients while driving revenue growth and AI adoption. You will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high‑value advertising accounts, developing a deep understanding of their business objectives and crafting solutions that deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies that drive AWS adoption and consumption within advertising clients, focusing on advertising‑specific workloads and use cases.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with advertising industry clients to understand their business objectives and cloud transformation goals.
  • Analyse client cloud usage and performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimise AWS solutions for advertising workloads including ad serving, programmatic platforms, and data analytics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Solutions Architects, Professional Services, Product), ISVs, and technology partners to develop customised AWS solutions that meet advertising client needs.
  • Work closely with global advertising agencies and networks to drive cloud adoption.
  • Identify and resolve client issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Stay current on cloud technology trends, competitive landscape, and AWS service developments to provide strategic guidance to advertising clients.
  • Lead client presentations and business reviews that demonstrate the value and ROI of AWS solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and share best practices across the organisation.

You'll engage with C‑level executives, craft personalised cloud transformation roadmaps, and translate complex technical capabilities into tangible business value. Expect to collaborate with cross‑functional teams, dive deep into client challenges, and develop creative solutions that push the boundaries of digital advertising technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or experience in an industry role.
  • Experience in technology sales selling enterprise software, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services.
  • Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals.
  • Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience managing relationships with enterprise‑level clients in the advertising industry.
  • Strong understanding of advertising technology platforms and the adtech ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the digital advertising landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value; MBA or advanced degree are a plus.
  • Deep understanding of advertising technology infrastructure and workflows.
  • Experience with major advertising platforms and technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, migration strategies, and best practices.
  • Experience with AWS services and solutions relevant to advertising use cases.
  • Understanding of advertising industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with data‑driven advertising solutions.
  • History of developing innovative cloud solutions that drive client success.
