Overview
Care Service Manager to lead the nursing floor and ensure residents receive high standards of clinical and compassionate care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the nursing and care team to provide safe, person-centred care.
- Carry out clinical assessments, care planning, and medication management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Support the General Manager with external audit processes to ensure the service remains compliant.
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations on the nursing floor.
- Mentor and develop staff, promoting a positive and professional working environment.
- Work closely with residents and their families to maintain open and supportive communication.
Qualifications
- Experienced in a care home, hospital, or similar clinical environment.
- Confident in leading teams and managing clinical responsibilities.
- Compassionate, proactive, and committed to resident wellbeing.
- Knowledgeable about safeguarding, person-centred care, and CQC standards.
- Ability to self-motivate, work on your own initiative as well as being a team player.
- A caring nature and an intuitive sensitivity to the needs of others.
- Excellent communication skills.
