Test Coordinator Lead

The Role:

WeareseekingahighlymotivatedandtechnicallyskilledAutomotiveVerification& Validation (V&V) System EngineerwithspecializedexpertiseintheElectric Vehicle (EV)Chargingdomain. Inthisrole,youwillberesponsibleforplanning,developing, andexecutingcomprehensiveteststrategiesforEVchargingsystems,witha strongfocuson Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL)testingmethodologies.Youwillcollaboratecloselywithsoftware,hardware, andsystemsengineeringteamstoensurethatchargingsystemfunctionalitymeetsthehigheststandardsofquality,safety, andregulatorycompliance.

Area of Responsibility

• Developandmaintaintheend-to-endtestexecutionplanacrosscycles(smoke, featurevalidation,regression,interoperability,compliancereadiness)alignedtoprogrammilestonesandsprint/releasecadence.
• CoordinateandoptimizeutilizationofHiLrigs,benches, EVSEsimulators/toolkits, powersupplies/loads,harnessesand FIUresourcestoavoidconflictsandmaximizethroughput.
• Ownthetestenvironmentconfigurationbaseline: ECUsoftwareversions,datasets, network/CANdatabases,certificates(PnC),toolingversions.
• Ensuretestresultsarereproduciblebyenforcingconsistentconfigurationchangelogging.
• Trackdailyprogressagainstplan: pass/failtrends,blockedtests,retestcounts,coveragestatus,defectleakage, andreadinessindicators.
• Run/coordinatedefecttriagecadencewithcross-functionalstakeholders;ensureproperprioritization,ownershipassignment, andclosuretimelines.
• Enforcedefecthygiene:clearreproductionsteps,environment/builddetails,expectedvsactualresults, andcompleteattachmentsforfasterrootcause.
• ValidateACcharging(Level 1 / Level 2) and DC fastcharging(CCS1/CCS2,CHAdeMO, GB/T)functionalityacrossthefullchargecycle.
• Supporthomologationand typeapprovaltesting(UL, TUV, CE, OEM-specificstandards).
• Identify,document, andtriagedefectsusingJira —includingcreatingwell-structuredissueswithclearstepstoreproduce,expectedvs.actualbehavior,severity, andsupportinglogs/data.
• Participateindailystandups,bugtriages, andsprintplanningwithinAgile/Scrumframeworks.
• Partnerwithsoftware,hardware,systems, andprogrammanagementteamstoaligntestactivitieswithprojectmilestones.

Knowledge / Experience

• Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegreeinElectricalEngineering, Electronics Engineering,Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering,orarelateddiscipline.
• Experience managingintegrated test schedules, execution governance, and multi-stakeholder coordination in automotive V&V programs (Agile/sprint-based delivery preferred).
• Proven ability to coordinatelab/HiLresource planning, including rig booking, test readiness checklists, and instrument availability.
• Strong configuration management mindset:maintainingenvironment baselines(build/version traceability, tool versions, datasets, certificates) and ensuring reproducibility of results.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating defect triage operations: prioritization, ownership assignment, SLA tracking, and closure governance.
• Experience inAutomotive System Testing/V&V coordination or Test Operations (EV/charging programs preferred), including lab execution planning and stakeholder reporting
• Familiaritywithchargingstandardsandsafetyregulations: SAE J1772, IEC 62196, UL 2202, OEM-specificrequirements.
• Knowledgeofhigh-voltage(HV)safetyfundamentalsand EVelectricalarchitecture(400V / 800Vplatforms).
