In this field‑based engineering role, one day you could be installing a new Stiltz homelift, and the next helping a customer get back up and running.
You’ll work independently in the field, travelling across the East Midlands region, while being fully supported by a collaborative engineering team that’s committed to your development and success. This is a great opportunity to build your technical skills and grow your long‑term career in engineering.
Responsibilities
- Install our award‑winning Stiltz Homelifts in customer homes
- Service, maintain and repair homelifts
- Diagnose faults and solve technical problems
- Respond to occasional breakdown call‑outs
- Manage van stock, tools and equipment
- Deliver a great customer experience every day
Qualifications
- Reliable, motivated and eager to learn with a strong work ethic
- Practical, hands‑on approach and willingness to develop skills through full training and support
- No product experience needed; full training and ongoing support will be provided
- Full UK driving licence – essential, as a company vehicle will be provided
- Good communication skills
- Confidence working independently
- Flexibility to travel across the East Midlands region, with occasional overnight stays
- Relevant technical skills such as automotive or mechanics, telecoms or communications, manufacturing, rail or transport, electrical or mechanical engineering, or field service engineering would be an advantage
