Overview
Working within the Group Finance team and reporting to the Head of Tax, you will play a key role across tax compliance, reporting, governance and advisory projects. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, complex tax matters, and a wide range of strategic initiatives across the group.
Responsibilities
- Prepare UK corporation tax returns and oversee outsourced compliance where required.
- Support Group IFRS and UK FRS101 tax reporting.
- Assist with transfer pricing design, documentation, R&D claims and other project work.
- Contribute to the Group’s response to BEPS developments and European reporting requirements.
- Maintain and update governance and risk documentation (SAO, CCO) and support the Group’s tax strategy, policies and training.
- Provide support across employment taxes, VAT and withholding tax.
- Monitor tax developments and ensure the business understands the impact of new requirements, including through training and process improvements.
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified; CTA beneficial but not essential.
- Strong grounding in UK corporate tax, ideally with exposure to multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
- Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with competing priorities.
- Strong communicator with the ability to explain tax concepts clearly to non‑specialists.
- Collaborative team player with flexibility to work across multiple projects.
- Advanced Excel and strong MS Office skills.
