Midday Supervisor (Part-Time)

About the Role

The role involves supporting the safe and efficient running of lunchtime, organising and utilising resources, running activities for children, and providing first aid support where required. This is a part‑time position of 5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

  • Support safe and efficient lunchtime operation
  • Organise and utilise resources at lunch time
  • Run and support activities for children to engage with during lunchtime
  • Provide first aid support where required

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a busy environment with children
  • Experience organising and running lunchtime activities
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
  • Highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Ability to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with colleagues, parents and pupils
  • ‘Can‑do’ attitude and ability to use initiative
  • Ability to work flexibly and professionally
