- Line manage Senior and Lead Pharmacists / operational leads
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
- Drive performance, accountability, and team development
- Lead appraisals, PDPs, and ongoing development
Governance, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with NHS, CQC, and internal standards
- Oversee audits, quality assurance, and service reviews
- Manage incidents, complaints, and continuous improvement
Clinical Route (Pharmacist)
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Experience in Primary Care (PCN/GP/NHS)
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership capability
- Focus on clinical governance, mentoring, and patient outcomes
Core Requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in a senior leadership or operational role
- Strong understanding of Primary Care and NHS structures
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
