Set in the welcoming coastal town of Dartmouth, our 79-bed home provides residential, nursing, dementia, respite, and palliative care in a warm and compassionate environment. As Clinical Deputy Manager, you’ll play a central role in making that happen.
Responsibilities and expectations
- You’ll lead from the front, creating a culture where clinical excellence and kindness go hand in hand. Your responsibilities will include supporting and developing the nursing team, overseeing care planning and clinical governance, ensuring the safe delivery of complex care, and helping maintain a home that is always inspection-ready.
- You’ll deputise in the Home Manager’s absence, providing stability, confidence, and leadership. Your influence will help shape standards, strengthen practice, and support the continued success of the home. This position will require the candidate to work alternate weekends and be part of the on-call rota.
What you’ll be trusted to do

You’ll bring calm leadership, sound clinical judgement, and a natural ability to build trust with residents, families, and colleagues.
