About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead a high-quality nursery setting in Kenley CR3. You will play a key role in leading the nursery team, ensuring outstanding childcare standards, and creating a positive, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery
  • Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained at all times
  • Support, motivate, and develop the nursery team
  • Oversee planning and delivery of activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Monitor children’s development and ensure accurate record keeping
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted, health and safety, and safeguarding requirements
  • Manage staffing, ratios, and nursery administration effectively

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (minimum)
  • Previous experience in a senior nursery role or nursery management
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for early years education and child development
  • Ability to lead a team in a positive and professional manner
  • An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
