About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead a high-quality nursery setting in Kenley CR3. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery
- Ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are maintained at all times
- Support, motivate, and develop the nursery team
- Oversee planning and delivery of activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Monitor children’s development and ensure accurate record keeping
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted, health and safety, and safeguarding requirements
- Manage staffing, ratios, and nursery administration effectively
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (minimum)
- Previous experience in a senior nursery role or nursery management
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A genuine passion for early years education and child development
- Ability to lead a team in a positive and professional manner
- An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
