Production Manager

Manufacturer of bespoke stainless steel equipment and machinery to the food & bev industry.
Salary: £55,000 to £65,000 per annum plus wider benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage the fabrication processes ensuring products are delivered to specification and standards.
- Oversee the fabrication team of 20, supporting development and training as required.
- Introduce new processes to improve efficiency within the fabrication team.
- Manage quality issues across all aspects of production.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, fixings, PPE and similar goods within budget.
Qualifications
- Experience working within the stainless steel fabrication sector.
- Specific experience working around conveyor systems or for the food sector would be ideal.
- Proven management/supervisory experience with a track record of improving processes across fabrication.
- Hands‑on welding/fabrication background.
- Health & Safety/Quality driven to ensure products meet high standards.
- Organised, natural problem‑solver who wishes to own the department and continuously improve all aspects.
- Comfortable with IT systems; experience with Sage (or similar) would be ideal, but can be trained.
