They are now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Air, Sea, and Road Freight.

The role will involve:

  • Developing new business in line with agreed commercial targets
  • Generating opportunities through self-sourced activity, warm leads, and existing networks
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Identifying growth opportunities across customers, services, and trade lanes
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity
  • Working closely with operational teams to support a smooth transition from sale to service delivery

Package on offer:

  • Basic salary of £45,000 to £65,000
  • Commission structure

The ideal background:

  • Proven experience selling Air, Sea, and Road Freight services
  • Strong new business focus with the ability to develop opportunities independently
  • Confident communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially aware
  • A good understanding of the importance of service, relationship management, and client retention
