Job Title: Site Manager

Salary: £55,000 – £60,000

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects across a varied portfolio, including schools, residential housing, and commercial developments. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong leadership on site, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations across education, residential, and commercial projects
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company standards
  • Monitor programme progress and ensure key milestones are achieved
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout the build process
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders effectively
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
  • Resolve on‑site issues quickly and efficiently to avoid delays

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction
  • Strong background delivering projects across schools, residential housing, and commercial builds
  • Excellent understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site management
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), and First Aid certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety
